An opportunity has arisen for a band 8a MSK Clinical Services Manager to lead the Hounslow MSK Services on a 12-month maternity cover secondment starting in April 2025.
Hounslow MSK Clinical Services are made up of a large MSK Physiotherapy service, an MSK Triage interface service, hand therapy service, specialist pain management service and FCP Physiotherapy service.
The role will involve some clinical work as an advanced practitioner in the MSK Triage interface service.
You should be a highly specialised, enthusiastic musculoskeletal physiotherapist who currently works at advanced practice level, or someone who is ready to take that next career step in joining an established supportive team that also consists of a Consultant MSK Physiotherapist.
To be accountable for the delivery of the MSK services to meet the commissioners service specifications, quality standards, activity targets and clinical outcomes.
To provide line management and clinical leadership for the MSK services clinicians; being accountable for the delivery of efficient and effective services which are consistent with policies, procedures and good practice whilst fostering, developing and delegating ownership and autonomy of local service pathways to the clinicians and administrative support staff.
