Legacy Restoration are primarily a listed building specialist company. We cover the whole of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Stone work and timber repairs to windows are our primary source of income.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mason at Legacy Restoration (South West) Limited located in Truro. The Mason will be responsible for tasks related to masonry, cement work, brickwork, renovation, and stonework on various projects. This will include stone carving and we also do granite obelisk polishing for our new customers in London.
Qualifications
* Natural stone masonry work, on granite, elvan, dolerite, slate, sandstone, and killas.
* Re-pointing and Rendering in lime.
* Experience in renovation projects and highly self motivated.
* Ability to work with various materials and tools.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
* Physical strength and stamina for labour-intensive tasks
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
