About the role: As the Consultant Engineer, you will: Develop and Implement: Effective flood prevention, shoreline management and harbour functions. Drive Digital Integration: Utilize advanced technologies for hydraulic flood and coastal studies. Manage Procurement and Maintenance: Oversee water, coastal, and maritime structures. Lead Maintenance Programmes: Oversee the development of design and construction programmes, ensuring budget adherence and effective control. Implement Harbour Authority Duties: Incorporate digital solutions for asset inspection, maintenance, and operation. Coastal Change Adaptation Plan: Contribute to the development of of the CCAP. The Person Education: Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (SCQF level 10) or equivalent. Chartered Status: With a relevant professional body (MICE / MCHIT / MIStructE / MCIWEM).
