An exciting and brand-new opportunity has arisen for the role of an Independent Living Housing Co-ordinator.The Strategic Commissioning and Procurement team sits within the Finance directorate but guides all directorates across the Council. This post will sit within the Adult Social Care Commissioning team.We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced individual who will take the lead role in the co-ordination and development of specialist housing for vulnerable adults. The role will be incredibly varied, having both a strategic role in the development of specialist housing whilst considering existing housing stock, as well as building working relationships with housing providers; but will also work operationally with Social Care teams to ensure the efficient delivery of commissioned services, and work creatively to support remodelling of these services where identified.The postholder should have excellent communication and organisational skills, to deliver the outcomes required by this role.
