Our client, a reputable West Midlands firm, are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Coventry.
Main Duties:
1. Providing conveyancing quotes
2. Opening new files
3. Dealing with client enquiries and queries over the telephone and in person, and providing updates to clients and estate agents
4. Setting up files for completion
5. To progress files through to post-completion, file closing and progressing to archive
6. Undertaking dictation
7. To scan, maintain and prepare full attendance notes
8. Updating LMS and Lender Exchange
9. Submitting registrations and dealing with requisitions
10. To undertake general administration tasks
11. To attend Property Department meetings and Firm wide meetings
12. To undertake any reasonable instructions made by Directors, Department Heads, Line Manager or Fee Earners.
The ideal candidate:
13. Minimum of 6 months experience working within a Residential Conveyancing department
14. Sound understanding of the conveyancing process
15. Knowledge of LMS and Lender Exchange
16. Knowledge of Land Registry
17. Excellent client care
18. Understanding of conveyancing process
19. Sound interpersonal and communication skills
20. Good organisation and administration skills
21. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Outlook, and case management systems (Tikit would be advantageous)
22. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
