Senior Audit Manager, City of London, £70,000 – £90,000, Hybrid Working

The Senior Audit Manager Role
Working closely with the Audit Director and management team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional audit services, developing junior staff, and supporting the growth of the audit function. You’ll be hands-on with client work while helping shape the team’s future.
* Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
* Review accounts and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
* Support the Audit Director with supervision, team training, and development initiatives.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job coaching.
* Help allocate workloads across the team and manage resource planning.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and identifying new opportunities.
* Deliver internal CPD training and stay up to date with legislative changes.
* Contribute to team best practices and efficiency initiatives.
* Begin building your own portfolio of clients to manage and grow.
About You
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Proven experience leading audits from planning through to sign-off.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
* Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture.
