Job Opportunity: SEMH Provision Lead
Location: Sunderland | Start Date: January 2024
Contract: January until July 2025 (potential for permanent placement)

Are you a passionate and skilled professional with a desire to make a real difference in young lives? We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) provision in a well-established secondary school located in the heart of Sunderland.
About the Role
This provision is designed to support students who may otherwise face suspension, offering them an opportunity to thrive in a structured, supportive environment. Placements will range from 2 days to 6 weeks, with the ultimate goal of reintegrating students back into the classroom.
As the SEMH Provision Lead, your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and delivering tailored support to meet the specific needs of each student.
* Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families to foster trust and collaboration.
* Implementing strategies to support behavior management, emotional resilience, and academic progress.
* Monitoring and evaluating the impact of the provision, ensuring the best outcomes for all involved.
* Collaborating with school leadership, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
