Part-Time Payroll Coordinator Telford Permanent 24 hours per week Up to £16 per hour D.O.E. Our successful Telford client has a part-time Payroll Coordinator vacancy. You will be working within a small professional, friendly, busy HR team. You will provide support to all managers and employees with regards to payroll related queries. Duties: Maintain and update time and attendance system to be able to produce weekly/monthly reports for monitoring sickness, absence and overtime. Administration of the clocking system, clearing anomalies daily. Updating holiday entitlement for new starters. Update holiday calendar with yearly Bank Holiday dates and shutdowns along with changing activity years to calculate long service. HR and payroll filing. Process the monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Calculate payments and deductions and administer pay related benefits, salary sacrifice schemes. Pensions administration (auto enrolment, postponement, opt out) also to administer other pension schemes that are in place. Ensure Apprenticeship Levy records are up to date and Finance Gateway monies are collected. Sending electronic payslips to employees. Manage all queries with regards to employees pay. Monitor compliance including HMRC, ethical trade initiative, NI compliance, tax code changes, AOEs, SSP,SMP,SPP. Monthly payroll processes, including New Starter Checklist, OT and holiday pay, sickness pay calculations. Leavers holiday and final pay calculations, P45s p60s and P11Ds. Company vehicle and health care updating all records weekly, monthly and yearly as applicable. All reports, journals, cost coding, nominal codes, record keeping. Support with any payroll audits. Dealing with post. Calculating weekly hours for agency staff, sending timesheets and signing off invoices. Implement Pay increases Update all systems with any employee personal change or contractual change. Ad-hoc admin tasks. Skills and Experience The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of running end to end payroll. You will need to be an excellent communicator with a high level of accuracy/attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline. Working knowledge of a time and attendance system is essential.
