With nearly 20 years of experience within HVAC, M&E, and fire/smoke sectors, this company knows what it takes to provide excellent service for their clients. They subcontract for some major names in the industry as well as having their own clients in the commercial and healthcare sectors. Due to expansion, they are recruiting for an AOV (Automatic Opening Vents) Engineer. You will be:
1. Covering London 80% of the time, with the rest of the sites being in the surrounding areas and counties.
2. Working with long-standing FM commercial clients.
3. Working on fire curtain maintenance, smoke and fire alarm maintenance, testing and servicing AOV equipment, as well as remedial works, ventilation maintenance, electrical panels maintenance, and testing smoke vents.
Skills needed to be an AOV Engineer:
1. Living anywhere in or around the London/M25 area is ideal, but they would also consider candidates from the surrounding home counties.
2. Some experience working on ventilation and automatic opening vents is necessary.
3. Good electrical and mechanical experience is needed; qualifications in this area would be beneficial but not essential.
4. Having your CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA would be beneficial but is not essential.
Salary and Benefits of an AOV Engineer:
1. £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary depending on experience.
2. 25 days of holidays + 8 bank holidays.
3. Engineers monthly performance bonus - £100 to £500 per month.
4. Van, phone, fuel card, and specialist tools.
5. Overtime available - no call-out rota.
6. Workplace pension.
