Are you a graduate looking to start a career in Local Government? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you at Knowsley Council to join our Performance and Business Intelligence Team.
Knowsley has a well-established integrated Performance and Business Intelligence team which spans multiple services including Education and Social Care.
Working to support Children’s services, this post offers you the opportunity to use and develop further your analytical skills. The successful candidate will design, develop and implement management information solutions. Utilising reporting tools including Structured Query Language (SQL) and Power BI, the post holder will develop dashboards essential to an effective performance management framework, ensuring that key staff and senior managers have the information they need to drive forward service improvement.
This is a pivotal role in which you will be at the forefront of developing and embedding the following:
* An effective, intelligence driven function that supports the ongoing improvement and transformation in Knowsley.
* Developing new and innovative business intelligence solutions utilising multiple data sources.
* Working closely with managers across Children’s Services, providing support and challenge to drive forward service improvements and delivery of key priorities.
