ABOUT US

FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 60 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.


ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

The Operations Manager is a key role in the Major Events (ME) Organisation within INEOS FPS. With an extensive Major Events Programme over the coming decade, we require an Operations Manager with strong plant, operations and process experience to play a key role in the delivery of these events across our business.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Operational & Process activity scoping, engineering, preparation and readying of turnarounds and interventions across the FPS assets. These will meet best in class business requirements, SHE, availability and cost targets and ensure that our events are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Key accountabilities

1. Lead and Deliver the Major Events 6 phase milestone plan (Strategy, Scoping, Plan & Prep, Pre-Execute, Execution, Close-Out) for areas of responsibility within Operations team, ensuring adherence to requirements for each phase activity set and associated milestones.
2. Lead and Deliver the requirements of each event in areas of; Workscope preparation; Engineering workpack identification and readying; associated Operations strategy and readying; associated Process strategy and readying; COW strategy and readying; MOC identification and readying; Completions roadmap strategy and readying. Ensuring adherence to requirements for each phase activity set and associated milestones.
3. Deliver the defined targets for SHE, plant integrity, reliability, cost and duration for each Turnaround in area of responsibility.
4. Deliver requirements of Major Events Transformation programme, associated management system documents and embed within Operations Team.
5. Lead a fully resourced & integrated team - using direct INEOS ME personnel, secondments of personnel from other INEOS teams, and direct / sub-contracting resources to deliver requirements for each event.
6. Participate in governance, steering and assurance requirements for each turnaround.
7. Initiate intervention and re-alignment of activities where gaps have been identified.
8. Strong and effective interface management and communications with a wide range of asset stakeholders.


ABOUT YOU

You should:

1. Be an Operations or Process Engineer with relevant experience have extensive experience in Plant Operations, Maintenance, TARs and Projects.or
2. Have strong team leadership skills and behaviours.
3. Have extensive experience of vendor engagement, liaison and management.
4. Demonstrate strong decision making skills, both within and out with area of expertise.
5. Be able to manage budgets/cost within area of responsibility.
6. Have well established networks and contacts.
7. Have experience using Maximo / SAP.
