As an Health and Safety Advisor with SHG you will have an opportunity to; Help to support and influence the improvement of health and safety practices throughout the organisationProvide advice and find solutions to help resolve individual and/or team-based issues and problemsTake the lead to improve processes and practices, ensuring they are compliant with legislation and best practiceBuild excellent working relationships with managers and colleagues to encourage and influence a proactive approach to safety management SHG is looking for someone with: A proven track record of achievement working as a Health and Safety Advisor or experience in a similar roleExperience in a multi-site diverse organisation, ideally with an understanding of the housing sector.A good knowledge of health and safety practices and lawHold a minimum of a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, or higherHave a varied background in Health and Safety, INCLUDING some construction based activity Our modern office is a bright, positive working environment with great collaborative working spaces.
