What you’ll do
Working within the Vodafone UK Property Team, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of a large commercial portfolio, including offices, sales hubs, labs and the industrial buildings holding critical operations for both Mobile & Network properties. Using your professional estates management experience, you will act as a subject matter expert to input in to and influence decisions, delivering the best solutions and helping to define standards & procedures.
• Managing the Landlord and tenant relationship across the corporate non-Retail property portfolio
• Responsibility for effective rent reviews and acquisitions & disposals on advantageous terms in accordance with agreed plans
• Management of sub-tenanted estate
• Ensuring statutory and contractual property payments, including Commercial Business rates, Cumulo and Stamp Duty Land Tax
• Effective contract management of external suppliers
• Estate budgeting and forecasting
• Accountable for the delivery of operational programmes and Key Performance Indicators, ensuring compliance with Company Governance
• Proactive input in to functional strategy and projects.
Who you are
• Proven track record in Corporate Estates Management, including managing outsourced property consultants
• Demonstrable in depth understanding of commercial estates management processes, objectives and procedures
• Communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence, whilst building effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders
• Solution-oriented approach to continuously improve deliverables within large property projects
• Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is preferred but not essential.
