Are you ready to make a difference? We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team at Cheshunt Minor Injuries Unit. You’ll be the friendly face that greets our patients and the have the organisational skills behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Main duties of the job
What You’ll Do:
* Be the First Point of Contact: Welcome patients with a smile and assist them with their bookings.
* Keep Things Running: Help open and close the premises and report any IT or maintenance issues.
* Data Guru: Enter and manage confidential data with precision and care.
* Communication Pro: Handle enquiries from all sources—whether in person, by phone, email, or post.
* Confidentiality Champion: Always maintain patient confidentiality.
* Team Player: Work closely with the PA/Lead Administrator to keep our services efficient.
* Clinic Coordinator: Record Virtual Fracture Clinic appointments and manage radiology reports.
* Stock Supervisor: Monitor and manage stationery and leaflet supplies.
* Liaison Extraordinaire: Coordinate with other departments, wards, and services.
* Meeting Maven: Participate actively in team meetings.
* Versatile Role: You might also chaperone patients during clinical exams and take on other duties as needed.

Skills and Experience
Essential criteria
* Education to GCSE level, NVQ level 2 (or equivalent)
* Previous reception experience working in an environment with direct contact with the public
