Our Colmore Row Office is seeking an experienced Secretary to join our Panel team.
The role of the Secretary is to provide effective support to our Panel Department.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Providing full support to our Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.
2. Preparing correspondence using our case management system.
3. Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person.
4. Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
5. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
6. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
7. Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required.
You Will:
1. Have experience and knowledge of working within a Residential Conveyancing department.
2. Demonstrate initiative and be able to undertake searches, ID checks and other work on files with dictation.
3. Possess high levels of speed and accuracy, have experience in dictation and excellent typing skills.
4. Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
5. Be highly organised, methodical and adaptable.
