A former country estate, The Langley is a luxury hotel and spa that had opened in early 2019, in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. As sister hotel to The Wellesley Knightsbridge, Londons finest boutique-grand hotel, it offers the same level of luxury and exclusivity but with its own unique character and setting.
The hotels boutique selection of 41 exquisite rooms and suites were designed by Dennis Irvine Studio with the height of sophistication and refinement, alongside a collection of exclusive dining experiences, including a signature restaurant with an acclaimed chef at the helm and an intimate bar specialising in the finest cognacs and cigars.
Job Role
We are currently seeking a HotelReceptionist to join our Front Office Team on this exciting journey. The main responsibility of the Receptionist is to ensure our guests are provided with proficient, professional service through meeting and exceeding the guests expectations.
General duties will include:
* Greeting guests, members and visitors in a warm, friendly manner guiding them through their day
* Being a true ambassador for excellent service, dealing with all requests and queries efficiently and professionally, whether face to face to over the telephone
* Day to day activities at the front desk, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries are handled efficiently
* Being the main point of contact for all in-house and external guest queries and requests
* Completing Front Office administration tasks
* Use of technology/IT systems
* Liaising with all department and ensures swift and efficient communication across the hotel, and assisting them when necessary
* Ensuring all relevant feedback from the guest is dealt with in an efficient manner
* To administer cash and floats in an accurately
* To undertake all training as required(e.g. first aid, health and safety, customer service)
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience of working as a receptionist, preferably a 5* Hotel (ESSENTIAL)
* Experience with Opera (ESSENTIAL)
* Excellent time management skills and be able to multi-task during busy periods
* Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
* An eye for details and welcoming personality
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Flexibility with rotating shift patterns, including weekends and Bank Holidays
