Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, this role contributes to the successful embedding of corporate HR strategy initiatives within their areas of responsibility ensuring local business requirements are accounted for in the design and delivery of such initiatives. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring that key cyclical people related activity such as Talent, Succession Planning and Reward Management are executed exceptionally.
In this role you will:
* Work collaboratively with Business leaders to create robust annual people plans which tackle the highest strategic priorities.
* Own the delivery of these plans through the year ensuring they add value and enable business performance.
* Engage and collaborate with the HR COE’s to support the delivery of the projects identified in the people plans and act as an intermediary between the business and COE’s where necessary.
* Use management information, people insights and qualitative feedback to identify opportunities to drive business performance and efficiency and input into the planning cycle.
* Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders built on trust with a shared purpose and desire to exceed and deliver value add business outcomes.
* Understand the payroll budgets for each business area and play an active role in the annual budgeting process.
* Guide senior stakeholders through complex people issues in order to minimise business risk.
* Oversee the executive onboarding process for Director and Senior hires within business areas, ensuring an exceptional welcome is provided and they have all the tools and support needed from the start.
* Act as coach and mentor to senior stakeholders supporting their development and identifying leadership capability gaps.
* Support in behavioural change management required with stakeholders to adapt and respond to business change.
* Support senior stakeholders to understand and manage the end to end talent management process.
* Understand current and future talent requirements for the stakeholder group.
* Facilitate annual talent and performance calibrations in order to effectively capture the relevant data.
* Take responsibility for ensuring talent actions and succession plans agreed through the process are delivered and there is tangible progress to strengthen talent pipelines, mitigate risk, progress the careers of and retain high potential and critical talent.
* Work with the HR COE’s to drive improvements in performance and be the point of contact for relevant ER cases.
* Drive a culture of performance management within business areas; ensuring underperformance is proactively managed.
* Support and challenge senior stakeholders to review organisational structures to ensure they have optimal design for the effective running of their business areas whilst ensuring alignment with OD and job grading principles.
* Work collaboratively and engage with the Rewards team to ensure job evaluation and benchmarking are completed to align to business strategy.
* Be responsible for the delivery of all cyclical remuneration activity across business area and ensure seamless delivery taking into consideration gaps to market and proactive pay progression.
* Support senior stakeholders to understand engagement survey feedback, creating action plans and ensuring the delivery of them.
* Build external market expertise, using this knowledge and insight to influence internal decision making and strategy.
* Act as an organisational values ambassador, representing the HR division across the business as champion of the HR Strategy.

* Flexibility in approach and able to manage and cope with ambiguity.
* Sound levels of judgement and the ability to make solid business decisions on which to base advice.
