Purchasing Administrator, Lincoln
Working for an established business within the engineering/technical industry, part of a purchasing/supply chain team responsible for a range of direct & indirect materials crucial to business operation.
Salary: £22,678 to £23,555. Benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 5% pension, additional insurances, and wider benefits.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week. Specific hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday.

As the Purchasing Administrator, you will:
1. Monitor and report on supplier capabilities.
2. Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of products.
3. Contact suppliers to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and discrepancies.
4. Review overdue orders and notify of any significant delays from suppliers.
5. Assist with product replenishment, matching inventory levels with customer needs.
This role will suit:
1. A junior buyer, purchasing assistant, or supply chain administrator seeking a new challenge within a technical business buying and selling across Europe & the UK.
2. Someone with purchasing administration experience or a detailed administrator with a good eye for detail.
3. Experience in engineering, production, or manufacturing industries is beneficial.
4. Good IT skills and ability to handle and manipulate data.
5. Exposure to MRP/ERP systems is advantageous.
6. A friendly, conscientious team player with a 'can do' attitude.
