Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire and motivate KS1 pupils.
* Provide a balanced curriculum, focusing on both academic and personal development.
* Prepare pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), ensuring high standards of progress and achievement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupils' learning experience.
* Participate in whole-school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
* Passion for developing children's confidence, resilience, and love for learning.
* Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour.
* Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
* Ability to supply two years' worth of references.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working with parents and the wider school community.
