Job Description
The Artisan Bakery is looking for some talented bakers to join our team. These positions available are responsible for assisting in the daily baking of our long fermented and sourdough breads. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, a positive attitude, and an ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of all ingredients used in the baking process.
* Follow standard recipes steps to prepare ingredients and bake goods.
* Ensure that all baked goods are properly mixed, shaped and baked according to standard recipes.
* Clean as you go policy.
* Maintain a clean workspace at all times.
* Complete daily prep checklist, assigned tasks, and perform other duties as assigned.
* Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
* Work as a team member with co-workers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
* Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Experience & Qualifications
* Prior experience working in a bakery preferred.
* Previous experience working with dough preferred.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read in English. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
* Baking: 1 year (required).
* Ability to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: up to £35,000.00 per year depending on experience
