Science Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a full-time Science teacher to work in a partnership school in Goole, starting April 22nd, 2025, until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position covering a vacant role, with potential for permanence if the candidate enjoys the role. Full planning and marking are expected, with payment scaled to the main teaching pay scale, from M1 to M6. The daily rate is approximately £162.31 to £223.62.
This role involves teaching Science to Key Stage 3 students only. A large bank of resources will be available, requiring minimal planning; candidates will mainly need to amend existing resources to suit their learners.
The school is part of a large national academy trust that values its staff, whether permanent or temporary. Located in Goole, it is best accessed by car, with an onsite free parking lot. Good train links from Hull and York are also available.
Tradewind will support your professional development through CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role may lead to other shifts and roles with Tradewind Recruitment.
To be successful, you will need to:
* Have UK school experience
* Support experience within UK schools
* Experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 students (Note: This seems inconsistent with the Science role; should it be Science experience?)
* Hold an Enhanced DBS, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and professional references
* Provide a full CV history
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
