Contracts Manager - Roofing and Cladding
Up to £60,000 plus package

The Contracts Manager will run a team of 4 Project Managers and 4 Site Supervisors, along with around 30 labour-only subcontractors. Currently, they have around 10 live sites at different stages and sizes. They will be responsible for running all projects and will report to the Head of Operations.
Contract Manager (Pre-Construction) Duties:
1. Briefed on all projects that they are overseeing and responsible for recording and reporting project performance to the Head of Operations.
2. Compile the health and safety file in the project management folder ready to start on site (Dropbox).
3. Attend site pre-start meetings with estimators, design team, and commercial.
4. Submit draft RAMS to Head of Operations for approval and then issue to the client (RAMS APP).
5. Ensure that site setup is completed, all delivery programs ready, and orders placed for delivery to site.
Contract Manager (Construction) Duties:
1. Coordinate project managers of all sites and attend site pre-start and progress meetings, design meetings, providing a weekly report on site progress for all sites.
2. Manage and report project program performance to Head of Operations, highlighting site issues with delays, workforce, deliveries/materials, and quality on all projects.
3. Manage and record non-contracted variation work, site delays, and design variations, informing Head of Operations and commercial of the changes.
4. Assess subcontractor price work/day work invoices received from the PM to ensure invoiced work is correct and issue to commercial for budget review and sign-off.
5. Manage and maintain labour requirements for all projects and highlight potential issues to the Head of Operations.
6. Complete quality QA check sheets.
7. Ensure that weekly returns are being completed and all documents/non-conformance tasks are closed out with PMs.
