In this role, you will support our NHS medical glaucoma service by providing both clinical and surgical assistance. You will diagnose and evaluate patients with existing and undiagnosed glaucoma, develop comprehensive treatment plans with other healthcare professionals, and participate in regular team meetings to ensure seamless care for our patients. To succeed in this position, you will need a medical degree from a recognized university, valid GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK, and experience in ophthalmology, particularly in managing glaucoma cases. You will also require excellent diagnostic and clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will maintain accurate patient records and adhere to healthcare regulations, while also educating and supporting patients and their families regarding glaucoma management and treatment options.
