About the role: Our school in Harrow is excited to welcome an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in our dedicated ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) class. Here, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and as part of our team, you’ll play a key role in making that happen. As an SEN TA in our ARP class, you’ll work closely with a small group of ASD students, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, with guidance from a friendly and experienced Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and headteacher who truly values staff development and well-being. Your work will be instrumental in helping students access their learning, develop key life skills, and make meaningful progress in a supportive environment.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with ASD or other SEN needs (preferable).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in their daily learning activities, adapting tasks to suit individual needs.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Work closely with teachers and external specialists to provide holistic support.
• Encourage social interaction and personal development.
