Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care to residents, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services. Your duties will include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality. Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training program to support you in your role.
Job responsibilities
Other responsibilities will include:
* Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Requirements
Please note this role will require:
* A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
