We are looking for an experienced Project Manager in the civil engineering sector to join a well-respected international company.

The role of Project Manager involves overseeing projects in and around the North East, therefore you must be open to travel in this area and hold a valid UK driving licence.
YOUR NEW ROLE
*
Ensure the site operates safely and efficiently, upholding health, safety, and quality standards
*
Drive contract performance by identifying efficiencies, managing costs, and developing procurement schedules in collaboration with the procurement team
*
Provide timely project forecasts and updates, and proactively manage resources and contingency plans to meet project demands
*
Identify and report risks and opportunities to senior management, offering solutions to mitigate risks
*
Deliver all work to high-quality standards and oversee the creation of essential project documentation, including Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Inspection Test Plans
*
Maintain accurate site diaries and records for transparency throughout the project lifecycle
ABOUT YOU
*
You are an experienced Project Manager within the civils sector (minimum 5 years)
*
Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
*
Experience in managing complex tunneling and shaft projects including the use of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs)
*
Delivering projects on time and within budget
*
Strong commercial acumen
*
Proficient in NEC3 Option A and C contracts
*
Your expertise includes design management, program management, risk management, and producing Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports for cost control and forecasting
*
Confident in presentation, negotiations, and building relationships with clients and stakeholders
*

Basic salary £70,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

31 days annual leave inc BH
