Our client a mobile BBQ & events business are currently looking for a Commis Chef/Junior Chef to join their successful and growing business.The company started as an events catering business over 10 years ago, catering for parties, weddings and corporate events and clients include some top UK corporate companies. WhenCovid hit they decided to start a mobile food truck that has been highly popular and successful. The truck is in different locations each day, not far from Liphook and as well as people that just turn up to eat they also have a click and collect service. They provide not just fantastic food but an amazing food experience.As part of the team you will be assisting with food prep, cooking and helping on the pass.The ideal candidate will have experience as a commis/junior chef as well as being a people person as the role includes customer interactions. You must have a full driver's license and be 25 or over in order to drive the van when required.If you want to learn and progress then this is a great company to work for. They are happy to train someone and progress them on to working on the grill/open fire. This is very different to standard cooking and a great skill to learn and take forward in your career.This Commis / Junior Chef role will start off in the mobile truck and then will also be involved in the events side too.Hours of work:This is a part time role initially working 3 days per week, 1.30pm - 9.30pm.
