Pipers is a brand that has won over 50 “Great Taste Awards” and is synonymous with only the best quality crisps. The Pipers story began in 2004 when three farmers - Alex Albone, Simon Herring and James Sweeting - joined forces to produce great tasting, quality crisps using the finest potatoes. Working with carefully selected flavour partners who care as much about their products as we do about ours. The Pipers brand is made up of passionate people driven by one thing and that is to deliver the best taste and quality possible. It's about crisps as they should taste. Kurkure is PepsiCo’s largest brand in India and synonymous with south east Asian snacking. We are in the process of scaling this brand in the UK to deliver a much loved taste from home for a fast growing sub-segment in the UK population. As the Junior brand manager, you will leverage your skills to define, develop and deliver sustainable accelerated growth for the Pipers brand. Working in close collaboration with your manager and our agencies, you will develop shopper material, lead our social platform, and lead projects such as packaging changes and flavour / pack development with inhouse agencies and cross-functional teams. You will be leading the brand reporting and budget process. On Kurkure, you will work on key events, such as Diwali and work on exciting product development projects to further expand our offering in market. Responsibilities Here at PepsiCo, Marketing talent is fundamental to how we grow our business. For the role of Junior Brand Manager, your key accountabilities will be: Accountable for developing and implementing Lead shopper activation from brief to deployment Lead digital campaigns and social channels Lead event management and activation throughout key seasons Lead pack development and roll out projects Support in flavour development and product expansion work Lead brand reporting and budget management Qualifications Within this role, a good working knowledge of the UK trade, P&Ls and demonstrable leadership skills are also required: y our skills and experience will cover the following: 3 years of relevant brand marketing/digital experience [CPG industry beneficial]. Knowledge of the AFH market in the UK and experience in a small entrepreneurial business with a ‘make it happen’ mindset. Experience building marketing strategies – experienced in using a broad range of marketing mix elements, including shopper marketing, digital marketing eg, media buying/planning & content creation to deliver against brand strategies & drive meaningful growth in brand penetration (ideally from small to medium scale). Consumer insights – comfort with how & when to use standard insights methodologies (partnering with Insights), ability to define new & different approaches to gather insights when no traditional models suit Agency Management Experience. Strong commercial acumen and understanding with proven track record in big FMCG Blue Chip Company. Strong strategic mindset and ability to distil complex tasks into simple and compelling strategies. Advanced consumer understanding with experience in classic brand management. Strong media and digital planning experience. High financial acumen and P&L awareness. Why PepsiCo?
