Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in our Beaconsfield office. You will be responsible for planning, performing and completing the audit process for each assignment.
As Audit Assistant Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met.
2. Identify and highlight any opportunities for Evelyn Partners apparent from work undertaken.
3. Assist and perform training of junior staff.
4. Complete PWA assessment forms of audit team.
5. Perform work in accordance with audit and assignment procedures.
6. Prepare draft accounts/report and completion memo (including identification of control weaknesses or areas of improvement) for review by manager.
7. Completing management and statutory accounts, including related services, and setting budgets - awareness of commercial aspects of clients' business and impact on our work. Arrangement of timetable, booking of staff, planning and completion of management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and other related assignments.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
2. Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
3. Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
4. Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
5. Demonstrable ability to organise self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time.
