Senior HR Manager – EMEA Region Location – Daventry, Northamptonshire NN11 OR Dunton, Essex, SS15 Travel to all UK sites and other EMEA countries required. What You’ll Be Doing: The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and administration of Percepta’s personnel, employee development, and employee relations within a specified Region. They will also work collaboratively and assist with compensation, benefits, and timekeeping processing and submission as needed. The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for multiple sites and HR Services programs. During a Typical Day, You’ll: Staff and Department Management Direct and manage a team of Human Resource staff responsible for recruiting, administration, personnel file maintenance, and employee relations/works council. Interview, select, and train employees. Lead by example and evaluate performance through the performance evaluation process, one-on-ones, corrective actions, etc. Administer disciplinary actions as required. Strategic Human Resources Management/Business Partnering Be a trusted advisor by strengthening partnership with key stakeholders through data and workforce planning and ensure your team is doing the same. Lead local and regional employee and labor relations matters and ensure compliance with all local and regional laws, and regulations. Partner with leaders to complete Employee Engagement Action Planning w/in 45-60 days after receiving Engagement Survey results, with a quarterly audit on progress. Complete Front-line supervisors 9Box/Talent Assessments and Succession Planning by partnering with Organizational Development team. Collaborate with senior leadership, managers, and team leaders to support the employee life-cycle process. Partnering with leaders to make recommendations in status (promotion, demotion, transfer, etc.). Partner with HR Director to direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of employment law policies, programs to ensure HR governance. Responsible for leadership training on HR related topics such as interviewing skills, harassment, discrimination, employee relations, policies, etc. Implement global programs as developed and directed by HR Director. Monitors and identifies employee engagement in Percepta. Recommends potential solutions including enhancements, changes, rewards, recognition, communications, etc. and partners with the Employee Engagement team. Develops and owns the upkeep of personnel policies and procedures at the site level, working with peers to ensure continuity across all locations with similar laws and regulations. Develop staffing strategies, implementation plans, and programs to identify talent within and outside the organization. Participate in SOW process, maintain client relationships, program launches and transitions, along with Limited Serve responsibilities. Oversight of all employment legal issues within specified region, with escalation and visibility to Director. Work Environment and Personnel Development Work on improving own skills; leadership, mentoring/coaching, applicable laws and regulations, best practices, etc. Support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior. Provide and facilitate development opportunities for staff members. Work closely and collaboratively with Global team, ensuring communication, transparency, and best practices across all regions, locations, and the globe. Miscellaneous Responsible for health & safety compliance, workers compensation, and applicable site certifications. Support site communications efforts. Work on activities and/or projects as requested by Human Resources Director or Site Management. Must be able to create and deliver the highest-quality client-ready presentations with an emphasis on analytics and business acumen. What You Bring to the Role: Education College, University, Secondary degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resource Management. Experience 7 years of strong Strategic HR Business Partnering 7 years proven experience in an HR Management role 7 years of experience with emphasis on employee relations and recruitment 7 years of experience in leading, coaching, and managing employees through complex, difficult and emotional issues 7 years’ experience in employment law, Region-specific (Medical and Personal Leaves, Employee and Labor Relations, Grievance, Tribunals, TUPE, etc.) Skills Strong employee and labor relations skills with the ability to work well with internal and external council. Effective leadership, and team building skills, along with strong global, regional and local collaborations skills. Superb skills in counseling, negotiating, objectivity, good judgment, and ability to solve problems and make solid decisions. Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with strong initiative and follow-up skills. Ability to handle difficult employees / situations and manage difficult conversations. Strong oral, written, influential communication and presentation skills. Works well independently and in a team environment to interact effectively with all internal departments and ability to work well with all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High proficiency in MS Office 365, especially with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications. Other Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality. Must be able to interact with vendors and customers and represent Percepta professionally with all outside organizations. Ability to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally, with little notice.
