My client, a main contractor with a Water Company, is looking for a Project Engineer - Water to work on multiple contracts and be part of their Construction team working out of the Colchester area.

As a Project Engineer, you will enable projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications. This is a great long-term opportunity where you will support the Delivery/Operational Manager in the delivery of MEICA Projects during times of high workload or resource shortages.
Support the capture of asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the relevant corporate systems. Raise Early Warning Notices and Change Requests when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost to the Programme Manager. Calculate Risk Index to ensure that the data and processes in place are robust and auditable. Develop solutions ensuring the optimum TOTEX solution is developed in line with corporate governance processes.
Key Requirements
* Knowledgeable in planning and resource scheduling.
* Hold an appropriate professional engineering qualification.
* Basic understanding of the regulatory processes.
* Project Management experience.
* Cost and risk-based analysis skills.
* Experience working in an operational water setting.
