This role is responsible for managing subcontracts that support complex projects, ensuring procurement strategies drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk management. Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, this position plays a vital part in securing high-value contracts that contribute to the success of offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing procurement plans for assigned projects, ensuring best value and risk mitigation.
* Managing bidder selection and vendor performance, maintaining strong relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
* Preparing and issuing Requests for Quotations and Invitations to Tender, aligning with budgets, project timelines, and strategic procurement objectives.
* Negotiating, placing, and managing project subcontracts and purchase orders in compliance with procurement strategies.
* Leading procurement progress meetings, monitoring supplier performance and resolving supply chain issues.
* Coordinating contract closeout, supplier performance evaluations, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
* Collaborating across subcontract, category, and Tendering Teams to strengthen commercial knowledge and contribute to business-wide procurement initiatives.
About You
* Experience in supply chain management within the offshore energy sector, ideally in an EPCI environment.
* Pre and post-award contract management expertise, including support for tendering processes.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships and contract performance.
* IT proficiency, including SAP/SAP Ariba and Microsoft Office.
* CIPS qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, managing competing deadlines with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
