Now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Central London. About the Role As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, working on foot throughout Central London and using public transport to travel to our customers. Your role will involve servicing and repairing coffee machines, ensuring that every client can produce the best coffee possible. You’ll receive comprehensive training in our workshops along with hands-on, on-the-job training to hone your technical, mechanical, and electrical skills. Key Responsibilities Plan Routes: Organize your daily travel across Central London. Travel Coordination: Check travel updates to ensure timely arrivals. Inventory Management: Maintain parts inventory by booking out, ordering, and returning items as necessary. Service & Repair: Perform routine servicing (3-5jobs per day) and repair of coffee machines. Effective Communication: Liaise with controllers and fellow engineers to resolve issues promptly. Customer Service: Listen carefully to customer concerns and address issues until they are fully satisfied. Performance Excellence: Strive to exceed the company’s PERFORMANCE targets. Requirements Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Excellent Communication: Clear and effective communication with both customers and team members. Customer Service Focus: Commitment to delivering outstanding service. Technical Background: Solid electromechanical knowledge. Diagram Reading: Ability to read and understand circuit and hydraulic diagrams and schematics.
