About the Role We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Director to spearhead the launch of our innovative DSP solution in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to play a pivotal role in building a thriving business from the ground up. As a key individual contributor, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to penetrate the UK market, focusing primarily on independent media agencies and select SME brands. Key Responsibilities Market Entry Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the UK market, identifying key target segments, competitive landscapes, and value propositions. Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients within the target market, leveraging your existing network and industry knowledge to build a robust pipeline. Client Acquisition: Drive the entire sales cycle from initial outreach and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success with our platform. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, prepare accurate sales forecasts, and provide regular reports to management on key metrics and progress. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and optimize performance. Brand Advocacy: Represent the brand at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and thought leadership within the UK advertising ecosystem. Qualifications Proven track record of success in sales roles within the digital advertising industry, with a strong emphasis on selling programmatic advertising solutions. Deep understanding of the UK digital advertising landscape, including key players, trends, and competitive dynamics. Existing network of contacts within the UK independent media agency landscape is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of programmatic advertising concepts, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and data management platforms. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for exceeding targets. Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
