About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Internal Exclusion Room Supervisor in a thriving West London secondary school. This important role plays a crucial part in supporting students who require temporary removal from the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment for all. Responsibilities: Supervise students within the internal exclusion room, ensuring a calm and controlled environment conducive to reflection and learning. Implement the school's internal exclusion procedures consistently and effectively. Liaise with teachers and pastoral staff to understand the reasons for exclusion and provide appropriate support to students. Work with students to complete assigned tasks or revision activities, promoting continued learning and engagement. Encourage students to reflect on their behavior and develop strategies to improve for a successful return to class. Maintain clear and accurate records of student behavior and interventions undertaken. Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment within the exclusion room. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents. Qualities & Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
