Role Overview:
As a Carbon Sustainability SaaS Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and executing sales strategies to drive new business growth within enterprise clients, institutional investors, and financial institutions.
2. Engaging with senior decision-makers including sustainability officers, portfolio managers, and corporate leaders to demonstrate the value of carbon sustainability solutions.
3. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, guiding them on ESG integration, regulatory compliance, and sustainability reporting.
4. Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and pipeline development to contract negotiations and deal closure.
5. Staying ahead of market trends in carbon sustainability, ESG regulations, and corporate climate risk to effectively position the company’s solutions.
6. Collaborating with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless client experience and solution alignment.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, preferably within ESG, sustainability, carbon management, or climate risk solutions.
* Deep understanding of carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and climate risk frameworks such as TCFD, SFDR, and CSRD.
* Experience selling to financial institutions, asset managers, corporates, or sustainability teams is highly desirable.
* Strong consultative sales skills, with the ability to translate complex sustainability challenges into actionable solutions.
* Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a network of sustainability and ESG professionals being a plus.
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of leading sales efforts in a rapidly growing market.
Compensation & Benefits:
