Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and self-driven individual to join our team as a preschool Key Worker within our small setting located in Telford.
This role is ideal for those who already have experience with working with young children and who have completed and obtained a Level 3 Diploma in CACHE and look to continue their career.
As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in educating children from ages 2 - 5 years old. Duties include, but are not limited to: designing class planning that follows the Early Years national curriculum, taking care of children's personal hygiene, supervising children during child initiated play, and writing individual annual reports and Learning Journals.
This role is for a maximum of 30 hours per week at National Minimum Wage and we are looking for one individual for this position. However, we will also consider two candidates who wish to do a maximum of 15 hours per week and job share. Responsibilities
* Design annual term planning that will help children meet EYFS curriculum
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Assisting children with their personal hygiene
* Collaborate with team members to meet targets and help the smooth running of the setting
* Communicate regularly with parents and carers
* Produce annual reports for each child within your class
* Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma in CACHE is essential and non negotiable
* Previous experience in a preschool, primary school, or similar is essential and non negotiable
* Clean DBS check is essential and non negotiable
* Strong literacy skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within the nursery of production operations.
