Established in 2020 and having just expanded their facilities, this family-run, independent small animal practice is looking to grow their team of 20 passionate professionals and is offering an incredibly exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon with a little bit of experience under their belt. The practice is committed not only to the care of their patients, but also to fostering a positive, supportive working environment. The team currently includes 5 Veterinary Surgeons, some of whom hold certificates in Small Animal Ophthalmology and Small Animal Surgery. You will also work alongside a friendly group of Nurses and support staff, all dedicated to helping each other succeed. The newly-developed practice is modern, bright and fully-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including Ultrasound, X-Ray, an in-house laboratory, Dental Care, a fully equipped operating theatre, and much more. There is a clear plan to develop a referral service within the practice, so they are always looking to expand and improve their facilities. They are more than happy to accommodate any specialist interests you may have, and an interest in cardiology or internal medicine would be an added bonus.

The full-time rota is flexible and conducive to a great work-life balance; you will work a 4 day week with a set day off and a set day for an early finish, either on Tuesday or Thursday. There are no OOHs whatsoever, and the weekend rota is only 1 in 6 Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm. You even get those three hours back the week after! Consults are 20 - 30 minutes with regular administration breaks. Part-time applications are also welcome, and the practice is more than willing to be flexible around any rota requirements you may have.
The practice is located in a picturesque market town in North Northamptonshire. This area blends urban convenience with rural charm, making it an excellent place to live. Commuting is easy, with direct train links to London St Pancras International in under an hour.
