Our client is a reputable and well-established firm of Independent Financial Advisers seeking to appoint an additional Administrator to join their close-knit team. Working in collaboration with Financial Advisers and a team of Paraplanners, the successful Candidate will be responsible for:
1. Processing new business applications
2. Creating Client Valuations & Illustrations
3. Liaising with Product Providers & third parties
4. Preparing pre-meeting documentation for Advisers
5. Assisting the paraplanning team
6. Providing administrative support to a team
7. Being a point of contact for Paraplanners for technical administrative queries
8. General Administration duties
9. Client Contact
Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
1. A wide knowledge of the different administrative roles and varied industry products
2. At least two years’ experience of working in administration within a busy IFA office
3. Excellent prioritisation skills to meet, if not exceed, deadlines
4. The ability to manage expectations of all staff and clients
5. A good working knowledge of online provider platforms
6. Ideally, some Financial Planning Certificate/ RO exams (but not necessary)
