HGV/Truck Technician - Manchester Area

£38,500 per annum plus an additional £300 p/m, dependant on experience

Hours: 7.00am - 7.00pm, 4 shifts on 4 off (176 hours per month)

Our client, the best motor trade employers in the North West, is looking to recruit a qualified, professional and competent experienced HGV/Truck Technician.

Our clients technicians are an integral part of the team and use their industry expertise to ensure that they keep their customers and their businesses moving by responding quickly and delivering excellent standards of work.

The job:
Act as an expert for all service work and defined assembly and work of the utmost quality and efficiency, and accordingly promote the brand image with respect to reliability and economy.

* Defined retrofitting of accessories and preservation work
* Support the Systems Technicians in more extensive repair jobs on the overall system

Key accountabilities:

1. Performance of all services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the schedule/service processor
2. All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings)
3. Knowledge of deviations and extraordinary wear occurrences and initiation of order expansions/feedback to customers
