At Bipolar Scotland we believe that everyone is the expert of their own experience, and through shared experience and connection, there s an opportunity to flourish and develop new ways of living well with bipolar. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to be responsible for the day to day banking, admin and financial record keeping of our charity. You ll be experienced in producing monthly management accounts, reporting on Income & Expenditure and cash balance, and be confident assisting the CEO to prepare budgets and forecasts. You ll have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a small, friendly and supportive team committed to improving the lives of people living with bipolar across Scotland. You ll support the CEO to present financial information to the Board of Trustees, external auditors, and funders when required. Bipolar Scotland is a mental health charity operating throughout Scotland. We support people affected by bipolar disorder by providing self help support at individual and group levels. Our activities include supporting a network of self help groups, delivering condition specific self management training and promoting awareness of the condition and the organisation. We are currently developing exciting new partnership working projects and work closely with other organisations in the mental health sector. We have recently widened our volunteer base and include group facilitators, trainers, directors, digital, admin and media. We are a small team and working to complement each other’s skills and abilities is vital.
