Description
Are you an enthusiastic and driven professional looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Spot Sales Negotiator to join the UK’s largest independent oil company. This role is all about negotiating and selling spot volume to both existing and new customers, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
1. Providing real-time fuel quotations to customers via phone, email, or through our online platform.
2. Processing orders on our pricing platform and terminal systems, and sending out order confirmations promptly.
3. Ensuring daily sales volumes are hedged and documented accurately.
4. Completing daily compliance checks to ensure full sales volume is lifted.
5. Keeping in regular contact with customers to understand regional demands and market trends.
6. Monitoring sales volumes against weekly and monthly forecasts.
7. Calling new and existing customers to increase volume within set parameters.
8. Managing customer credit limits to align with sales.
9. Handling and resolving internal and external queries efficiently.
10. Compiling KPI data for internal and external reporting.
11. Collaborating with internal teams, including Commercial Accounts, Traders, Operators, Customer Care, Invoicing, and Credit Control.
General:
1. Provide support to the wider Commercial department.
2. Any other reasonable tasks as requested.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Confident and experienced in call handling.
3. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
7. Flexible, with the ability to work under pressure to meet business demands.
8. Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions.
9. A team player who can also work independently and show personal initiative.
10. Experience in the fuel industry is a bonus but not essential.
