The Local Academy Council is seeking to appoint a positive, proactive and friendly Administrative Assistant with a passion for working with children in a diverse and busy Primary Academy Office. Outline of duties; Management of staff training log and making bookings for CPD/ professional development opportunities. Management of staff absences and processing additional hours/ claims as they arise. Contributing towards social media presence of academy (website, Facebook, Parent Dojo). GDPRis system- supporting in handling GDPR and Subject Access Requests. Maintaining and managing staff HR files; conducting regular audits to ensure they are kept to the best standard with essential documentation in place. Supporting the Attendance and Admissions lead in day to day operational functions. Processing Exclusion documentation and providing administrative support to the core Senior Leadership Team. Providing support to the finance Manager in processing invoices, raising sales invoices, liaising with lettings and general administrative duties. Supporting teaching staff with assessment data and class profiles and general enquiries. Supporting PTFA with promoting events. Managing school trips (bookings, risk assessments and parental income) Preferred skills and experience (not essential to application); Adult First Aid or Paediatric First Aid certified. (preferred but not essential) NVQ level 2-3 Business Admin or equivalent/ working towards. (preferred but not essential). Knowledge of safeguarding/ Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines with an awareness of the type of issues and sensitive matters that may arise from day to day school life. Experience of working with data management information systems. Proven track record of working to deadlines and achieving professional goals. Administrative background particularly in working in fast paced office environments. Experience of working in a customer service/ key stakeholder based working environment.
