Clinical Lead
Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Salary: 48,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Days - 9am to 5pm - 37.5 hours
Some evening and weekend working required
Time Recruitment is sourcing a Clinical Lead for a nationally recognised charitable organisation that operates a 60-bedded dementia and nursing care home in Solihull, rated OUTSTANDING by CQC, and split into 4 units with 15 beds per unit.
The Clinical Lead will oversee clinical operations within the home, ensuring the highest standards of care for the residents. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
As a Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take part in an on-call rotation with Home Manager and Deputy Manager
2. Complete training for Non-Medical Prescribing
3. Complete training as a Pain Management Nurse specialist
4. Complete training as a Diabetes Nurse specialist
5. Complete training as a Tissue Viability Nurse specialist; or complete advanced dementia training (Modules with ADS, Worcester)
Essential Experience:
1. A Registered General Nurse with at least 5 years' experience
2. Experience of providing clinical and management supervision to Registered Nurses and Care staff
3. An understanding of CQC regulations and the inspection process
4. Proven ability to work to high standards and lead others to do the same
5. Experience in confidently managing difficult situations
6. Experience of and genuine desire to work in nursing and care of older people/dementia care
7. Confident in using IT systems and supporting others to do the same
8. Driving licence (ideally clean) with access to a car to undertake assessments
Desirable Experience:
1. Previous management and leadership experience
2. Previous experience in a senior role
