As a team, our goal is simple – NIS help our Agency Network to win and retain more customers by broking into the wider insurance market to support a specific need in their insurance programme. In this brand-new role as a Claims Development Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of delivering operational excellence within the NIS. You'll collaborate with third-party suppliers, insurers, and Agents to implement and maintain best practices, ensuring efficient claims administration and oversight of large losses. Your efforts will be crucial in delivering a high-quality customer and Agent experience. You'll build and nurture effective working relationships, provide essential claims information to insurers, and drive process improvements. Additionally, you'll lead and mentor your team, handle complex claims issues, and offer performance insights to ensure exceptional service and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”. Further information can be found in the FCA Handbook.About youYou’ll have extensive experience in claims handling, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in managing and resolving claims efficiently. Your background includes leading a claims team in a customer-focused and performance-driven environment, where you have successfully driven high standards and achieved excellent results. You are adept at producing management information (MI) related to customer and claims performance, using your analytical skills to provide valuable insights and drive improvements. Your ability to offer technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders ensures that best practices are followed, and your data analysis experience allows you to interpret complex information to inform decision-making and strategy.
