The Opportunity A rare and exciting leadership opportunity has arisen at CER Education Recruitment to lead and manage our growing and high-performing team in Luton. This unique opportunity will suit an individual currently operating within the Education Recruitment market looking to either enhance or begin their managerial career. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Luton Office, whilst also being responsible for personally recruiting into the Secondary Education sector across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You will oversee a team of recruiters, drive business development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality recruitment services to our clients and candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about education and recruitment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of recruitment consultants to meet branch performance targets. Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow the branch's client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process for clients and candidates operating within the secondary education recruitment market - leading my example and delivering excellent results and service to all customers. Build long-lasting candidate relationships through providing expert services and advice. Lead by example in setting and delivering consistently high standards of activity and customer interaction to proactively drive business growth and the performance of yours and the team's business areas. Monitor and analyse branch performance, set clear objectives, and implement improvements as needed. Handle client queries and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service - including responding to customer feedback surveys and any disputes. Manage branch budgets and ensure financial targets are met. Support and mentor the team to develop their skills and enhance career growth. Stay up to date with industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar leadership role in recruitment, ideally within the education sector. Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and the education sector. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong business development skills and the ability to generate new business. Results-oriented with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Proficient in using recruitment software and Microsoft Office.
