Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will support complex projects, develop your skills, and take on increasing responsibilities over time.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver high-quality planning advice on diverse development projects.\n\nSupport senior team members on complex projects.\n\nProvide planning guidance to other areas of the business.\n\nManage planning instructions that will develop in complexity as your skills grow.\n\nYour Role Will Involve:\n\nConducting diligent research and analysis.\n\nAdvising on development proposals that align with client objectives.\n\nAssessing risks and opportunities within the planning system.\n\nRecommending strategies for planning applications and local development plans.\n\nCoordinating external consultant teams and internal advisors.\n\nLiaising with local planning authorities and third parties.\n\nCommunicating proposals effectively in writing and verbally.\n\nNegotiating on behalf of clients to achieve optimal outcomes.\n\nMaintaining adherence to project timelines and deliverables.\n\nManaging invoicing and debt professionally.\n\nQualifications & Skills:\n\nEssential:\n\nMember of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (Planning & Development) or close to qualification.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nEnthusiastic, ambitious, and a team player.\n\nDesirable:\n\nPractical experience in both development management and development plan processes.\n\nPublic sector (local planning authority) experience.\n\nApply Now\n\nIf you are a passionate and ambitious planning professional looking for an exciting new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
