About the Role:
As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you'll manage a £72 million budget for categories like fleet, hotels, property, and stationery. You'll lead a team of four Assistant Procurement Managers, develop procurement strategies, and build strong relationships with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement procurement plans for fleet, hotels and property.
* Lead and mentor a team of 4 Assistant Procurement Managers.
* Manage an annual budget of £72 million, ensuring cost-effective practices.
* Build and maintain relationships with other departments.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers for the best terms and quality.
* Keep up with market trends and find opportunities for cost savings.
* Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in indirect procurement in fields like engineering, logistics, construction, or manufacturing.
* Proven ability to manage large budgets and achieve cost savings.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
