To work as an Occupational Therapy practitioner to deliver assessment and intervention to those accessing specialist palliative care services at St Benedicts Hospice, including the Hospice in-patient unit, day services, and community. To demonstrate agreed standards of care, based on best available evidence and sound clinical reasoning. To develop his/her scope of professional practice in order to meet service requirements and ongoing service development in accordance with professional guidelines.
To work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure practice is efficient, effective, and evidence-based.
To complete accurate, timely, and concise documentation of patient records in line with Trust, professional, and department standards. To work towards improving services through commitment to continued professional development relevant to the profession.
