Position Summary We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual with good leadership skills to inspire and empower excellence in quality, safety, health across Nespresso UK & I. This is a pivotal role which is responsible for developing a robust QSH Strategy. Acting as the guardian of compliance of Food Safety, Quality and Safety & Health and the challenger of all the functions to maintain consumer trust and preference in the Nespresso Market. You will provide expert leadership across all functions, to enable teams to realise their QSH goals and create pride in their achievements. Be the figurehead for Safety across the business and promote safe behaviours. Alongside this you will lead and develop a team of three. A day in the life of a Quality, Safety and Health Manager Key responsibilities of this role; - Provide QSH input to the local business strategy, for strategic decisions, company priority setting and overall efficiency of the operations - Drive initiatives leading to continuous improvement in QSH performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset - Establish the appropriate QSH network in line with the operational plan (OP) - Manage and comply with the HR and Line Manager's Planning Cycle - Ensure the company local Quality, Safety & Health policy, Nestlé and Nespresso instructions for Quality, Safety and Health are consistently applied in the market - Lead the Management Review of QSH - Ensure the Integrated Management System is kept up-to-date and reviewed to ensure continuous improvement - Accurate and timely reporting on Safety & Health matters - Provide accurate and timely reporting, including to compliance-related partners - Ensure Nespresso UK &I compliance to local Food Safety and H&S legislation - Ensure that the Nespresso Integrated Management System (IMS) is consistently aligned with HQ and communicated in the market / hub considering local adaptations - Ensure that the Nespresso IMS is regularly up-dated and reviewed in order to ensure continuous improvement - Be the Process Owner for particular Quality processes What will make you successful? To be successful you will certify as a business we are compliant with the relevant frameworks and polices, as well as creating an enthusiastic engagement culture within Nespresso. Embedding suitable training and coaching programmes, to progress the capabilities of our management teams. Whilst offering your expert guidance and advice to the business, ensuring a proactive approach is taken to anticipate issues and/or improve current policies and practices. You will also have experience and knowledge of; - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. - Auditor training (Internal/Lead Auditor ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). - NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (we may consider working towards). - Membership of a professional body (i.e. IOSH). - Business Experience in similar industry - Management exposure across several functions - Budget Management - Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams - Demonstrated capability to implement projects and change management - Demonstrated management capability including ability to coach, engage and influence.
